The utility of the social network is in its actual membership. It is merely there to facilitate pre existing networking.

For example, linkedin is an acme for business networking; the ‘next step’ is to recruit or seek work.

ASmall World was posited as an acme for ‘elite’ networking.

The ‘next step’ is to trade tickets, tips, and gossip. The emergent networking coming from social networking software is often very cool but tends only to happen after the pre-existing tendency to network among an existing constituency is moved to the site.

Then you have social networks where people just wish to chat, make friends, share photos, music and pictures, however, I have found that while this is the case, all networks, that I personally belong to, do have business oppurtunity seeking within them and also, Groups with many different topics that you can join.

If you are not a master at building websites and clever enough, to have your promotional site in the top 10, in search engines, then good blog and social network sites, are the way to go.

We have been in 2008, testing and trying out blogs and social net work sites out since the start of 2008, till June, to see the best places that provide the best exposure for our net work market and I have provides the best 12 sites, we have found to date for this year.

Below, is what, has been found to give the best exposure for us.
